A UQ Art Museum touring exhibition

Margaret Olley: Life’s journey provides a unique insight into the world around Margaret Olley from the early 1950s to the 1970s. From Paris to the New Guinea Highlands and from Brisbane to the old gold-mining town of Hill End, the exhibition traces the places throughout the world to which Margaret Olley has travelled, and the cities in which she has lived.

Focussing on monotypes, and pen and ink and watercolour studies, Margaret Olley: Life’s journey brings to public view rarely exhibited works drawn from national, state and private collections, and the artist’s own collection.

Curators: Michele Helmrich and Nick Mitzevich
