  1. What forms do I need to complete to make a booking?
  • Fill out an enquiry form and we'll get back to you with a quote. 

      2.  Is UQ Art Museum suitable for my event?

  • Suitable events for our spaces include meetings, small seminars, dinners, cocktail receptions, luncheons, and panel discussions.  

      3.  What are the conditions of hiring UQ Art Museum for my event?

  • All hirers must comply with the stipulations set out in UQ Art Museum’s Conditions of Hire, provided upon enquiry.
  1.  Does UQ Art Museum offer catering? 
  • UQ Art Museum does not provide a catering service. We have curated a selection of high-quality, reputable caterers who are familiar with UQ Art Museum. View our list of nominated caterers here.

      5. Can UQ Art Museum turn artworks off for my event? 

  • Some exhibitions may include artworks that feature sound. UQ Art Museum cannot turn artworks off if your event takes place during our public opening hours.  

       6. I want to book the lawn outside of UQ Art Museum. Who do I contact?

  • For information regarding accessibility please visit our accessibility page. 

  1. Does UQ Art Museum charge staffing fees?  
  • Staffing fees may apply to your event. UQ Art Museum may waive selected venue hire and staffing fees for bookings for UQ Clients within our standard opening hours. Events that take place beyond these hours incur staff costs. All events may incure venue hire and other costs.
  1. How much will it cost to hold my event at the Art Museum? 
  • Hire fees will only be provided upon enquiry.
  • Please complete an enquiry form to obtain a formal quote.  
  1. Where does profit obtained from venue hire go?  
  • Income received from venue hire helps to support current UQ students, and recent graduates to receive paid work experience at UQ Art Museum. Read more about your impact.
  1. Can I hire UQ Art Museum’s exhibition spaces to exhibit my artwork?  
  • Please note, we do not accept exhibition proposals to display artworks in our venue hire spaces.
