Themes  

Mare Amoris addresses some difficult but important issues. Some artworks address race, effects of colonisation, violence, displaced peoples, native title sea rights, environmental concerns, grief, depression and suicide.  
  
If you are distressed by the themes brought up in our exhibitions, 
support is available.  

Sensory considerations  

Mare Amoris features some artworks that contain video and sound components, which are audible throughout the exhibition.

You may like to bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones for your visit. 

We also have free Sensory Kits available (subject to availability).

You can find a text version and audio recordings for all artworks on the Mare Amoris | Sea of Love Accessibility Guide. They are also available via QR codes at our reception desk and throughout the exhibition.
