COVID-19 has sent the global tourism industry into a tailspin. With the loss of 6.5 billion tourism dollars (as at 20 April 2020) in Queensland alone, what plans are in place to help Queensland’s tourism, and more specifically cultural tourism industries, recover? Join UQ School of Business Associate Professor Gabby Walters, Rockhampton Art Gallery Director Bianca Acimovic, and Tourism Events Queensland Destination Director for Southern Queensland Laura Jones for an informal chat about the unexpected surprises that the cultural tourism sector experienced thanks to COVID-19.
